Graduated
as a chef in the Master's program in Culinary Arts at the University
at Heidelberg. He opened his first restaurant "EPE"
in 1978, and the Villa Fayence in 1986. Some of his accomplishments

Capital, Millau Guide Book: 17 points - 100 Best Restaurants in
Germany, Michelin Guide Book: 1 star (17 years). 18 apperances
on German Television Show called "Einfach köstlich"
/ "simplify Delicious". Private cooking classes at Mas
Castellane in Provence, 1985-present. Privat cooking classes at
Roquebrune in Cote Azur.
Renowned
chef Bernahrd Michael Bettler and his American wife, Suzanne Link-Bettler
are hosts at the elegant wintergarten restaurant and there charming
cozy Bistro within the beautiful "Villa-Fayence". The
villa in the peaceful town of Wallerfangen inlcudes 4 spacius
Hotel rooms. Bernhard is fluent in German and French and speaks
a bit English. Suzanne is fluent in American and German. My husband
and I try to combinethe best of food and wine with their collection
of art, antiques and old-world hospitalith in the historic setting
of the Villa Fayence.
